Motors- No moderating done at all.

I must complain about the total lack of moderating on the Motors board. Its been over 6 weeks since the "moderator" last posted and that was not in motors. I must complain about the total lack of moderating on the Motors board. Its been over 6 weeks since the "moderator" last posted and that was not in motors.

There are serious flame wars going on at the moment and nothing is being done about it. Threads not getting locked despite requests posts not being edited etc.

May I suggest the appointment of an assistant moderator to over see the operation of the board. I would like to put my name forward.

I hope that this gets sorted in the near future.

I've noticed actually that there has been very little mod input on the board of late, but I've been impressed at the conduct of the members. There's been some minor flaming, but nothing I'd deem worthy of banning or editing(note that I don't read *all* threads, specifically I don't bother with threads about car modding). A second mod may be handy to reduce spam levels or just to have a presence on the board.

Like seamus says, it doesn't really take much modding. Civil group of gear heads normally

Yeah, there's a bit of cut and thrust, IMO hardly anything to get worked up about, espcially when its a n00b, and you're an old hand.

Yeah I'd noticed the lack of input myself some time back -

Mod History

Neil3030 takes a really hands off approach it seems!

Theres a few features I'd like to see included like a Cars for sale sticky and a Post Your Car feature and so on....

Yes, my opinion has changed slightly.

I'd forgotten about a few sticky attempts I'd made, but were lost because there was no mod around to sticky them

I vote for a co-mod to do stickying and stuff.
