Picket fencing needed ?..

    I need about 60 feet of 3 ft high picket fencing. Is it poss to buy this 'online' in (ready made) lengths, or is there a simple answer for a not well off inexperienced diy person ?.. :confused:

    I imagine you could pick up some in your local garden centre or DIY place. I imagine delivery cost (for essentially a few pieces of timber) would be prohibitive on the web.

    Alternatively buy lots of treated 2x1 (posts will need to be bigger), paint it, cut it and screw it together (2 screws per joint). Painting before fitting makes it easier to get the gaps done.
