Two Petes Anthem to be performed in studio this weekend!

    After many weeks of toiled thought and type-numbed fingers we have finally completed the Two Pete's Anthem. The BIG announcement is that the very talented (and my favourite Irish band) ALPHASTATES are going to arrange the music. So, your Two Pete's lyrics will be merged with music and the final performance of our anthem will be played on the final show on June 27th.

    So here is the final cut


    The Two Pete's Anthem

    And we three went walking down the road,
    Laying our plans and talking in code.
    And the talk and the chatter and the rubbish it flowed,
    When all of a sudden we came to a tree.

    A snack tree it was, it was planted by Janis,
    With all sorts of treats she could put in her......Mouth
    But the treats were so foul she let out a shout
    “These treats taste like donkey mixed with raw trout!”

    Then leaving the tree we returned to the road
    wondering why we where talking in code
    "The 8Ball" Pete cried "it surely will know"
    So he gave it a shake and the truth did unfold.

    We asked if it knew, the 8 Ball said "no"
    And then we got lost, did not know where to go.
    So we saw a donkey whose name was Earl Grey,
    And we asked him did know the way.
    Earl Grey waved his tail at a hole in the ground
    "The studio!" cried Pete "it's finally been found!"

    I had my MD player all set up to catch the last few hours of phantom (for now) and wouldn't you nkow it? I missed THE song!! :mad: But I'm pretty sure Pete did say that it would be available for down load sometime

    To say I was shocked would be an understatement. I think hearing alphastates sing the line “and the talk and the chatter and the rubbish did flow” will go down as one of the greatest moment of my life.
