Final weekend of Phantom on FM this weekend! Boo!

    Hello all,

    This weekend (June 26th and 27th) will be the last weekend of Phantom on 92.1 FM. Those 15 weekends have gone by so quickly!

    We will be finishing our current run of FM broadcasting this Sunday night at midnight so tune in over the weekend as much as you can.

    We will have the usual batch of interviews and competitions (including tickets for The White Stripes, The Frames and Oxegen) as well as the debut performance of the Two Petes anthem in studio on Sunday night.

    Our full licence application is to be handed into the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland on July 9th and we will keep you updated on its progress. Next step is the shortlisting of applicants in August.

    If you havent done so already, fill out our listener survey (link on the front page of www.phantomfm.com) and sign up for our mailing list. We will be sending out a weekly newsletter with details of what we are up to as well as gig guide and competition stuff too.

    We're not going to vanish musically either. Keep checking back to www.phantomfm.com for details of on demand and live programming on the web.

    And most of all, thanks to everyone who took part in, got in touch with, or indeed listened to Phantom for the last 15 weekends and longer!

    And keep your fingers crossed!

    Are their going to be DJ's on the web stream or will it just be "The Phantom?"

    What type of things do you have to do in the Application form? Answer lotsd of silly questions?

    Hang in there lads....
    I've no doubt in my mind that you'll get the license you've been working hard for all these years...
    Mind you, the first week you get it, there will be no shows on PhantomFM as we'll all be hung over from the celebration party !!! :D

    Here's wishing all at Phantom good luck with the future Broadcasting licence, and thanks for all your support this year. Phantom fm has worked wonders for the alternative music scene and will continue to do so, for sure!
