    Had the phone for 8 months, another 4 months of contract to go.
    Has been crashing on me pretty frequently for no apparent reason. . .
    Anybody else encountered this prob?

    Yeah happened to me in the first week i had it. It became unusable so they replaced it. Im sure after 8 months its still under warranty?
