Scrapping a car

    Due to ruinous tax and insurance rates my brother is going to be scrapping his old volvo estate. Is there anywhere that would recover the parts - it is a perfectly working car and would be a shame to crush it...

    drive it down a hill and jump out before it goes off a cliff like in the movies, thatd make for a great jackass style moment, seeing as its just getting scrapped anyway.

    Unless it's relatively new (6 years or less I would say) you will have to pay to get it scrapped.
