    Hi all,

Does anyone know how to set up the amount of rings before being diverted to the voicemail.

For now if you ring me, you ll hear 3 dialing tones and then you ll get my voice mail.

I wish to set it up so it you hear 6 or 7 dialing tones before being diverted.

    Thanks for any help

If you are on o2 there are some codes you can enter to change the number of times your phone rings before a person is diverted to voicemail, though I can't remember what they are.

There doesnt appear to be a menu option in the v300 to do this.

    I ll contact O2 support

    Thanks anyway.

I also think that you can t set up your phone so you get different ring tones according to who s calling you ...

Its no problem to set up the phone to ring differently (tones that is) depending on the caller. The details on this are in your user man

To change your ring time before diverting, simply type: **61*destination
number**no. of seconds (5-30secs)# & press the call key.

So, for example to extend you ringing time to 20 seconds before diverting,
dial **61*00353865XXXXXXX**20# and then press the call button.

as i said, i couldn t find it in the manual.

To set a custom ringer for a person on v300:

    1. Copy the entry to your phones internal memory.
    2. Scroll to the entry and highlight it.
    3. Press the menu key.
    4. Select edit.
    5. Scroll to ringer i.d.
    6. Pick any tone in your phone.
