Vodafone performance while roaming in London

    Was over in London and had loads of trouble roaming on the Vodafone UK network (with my Vodafone IRL account). Was trying to keep in touch with two friends (also on Vodafone IRL, one pre-pay the other post-pay and roaming on the Vodafone UK network) and kept getting loads of announcements that calls couldn't be connected with them.

    It got so bad we did some testing when me met up over the day, we called each other (checking we all had signal etc.) and it resulted in the same announcement saying we couldn't be connected... it improved later in the day outside central London and we all got through no problems for the rest of the evening...

    It was really inconvenient that you couldn't make a call when you wanted to... at least text messaging was a bit more reliable so we weren't completely screwed trying to organise when and where to meet up as we did our separate things during the day...
