Four new routes announced by Aer Lingus
    July 01, 2004 11:33

Aer Lingus today announced the introduction of four new routes from Dublin to Europe in its winter schedule this year.

The expansion brings to 17 the number of new routes introduced during 2004 and represents a doubling of the airline's network in less than three years.

Services to Liverpool, Las Palmas, Lanzarote and Budapest will commence at the end of October this year. Daily flights to Liverpool will be available, while Budapest will be served by four flights weekly. The remaining two routes will initially offer one flight each way per week.

The company's chief executive Willie Walsh said that the introduction of these new routes reaffirms Aer Lingus' commitment to providing direct, low fares access for Irish consumers to new destinations.
