Hello All

I was trying to install the Sasser worm patch, which I downloaded from the MS Windows web site and it will not install. I have removed the Worm from the system but am unable to install the patch. When I try to install it, the install screen will only appear for a few seconds and then it will disappear. I have installed the patch on my own Machine and a few others without any problems, the person I am trying to install the patch fro really needs it as the machine keep getting infected with the same worm. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Machine is running XP Home

Do a Google for McAfee Stinger and use it to clean the machine first.

Run it in safe mode, press f8 when the PC is booting up.
