Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

anyone know when RTE will announce what games they're showing?

i it is anything like last year...rte will have 2 3pm games to choose from...

these games are the leftovers from sky's coverage..we will know about a week in advance of what game will be shown

what better way to start the season than at whl...

In terms of the number of appearences, it looks like Sky are spreading it about quite fairly and hence spreading the amount of money. Liverpool and Newcastle seem to be doing quite well:

    Arsenal 11
    Liverpool 11
    Man United 10
    Newcastle 10
    Chelsea 9
    Aston Villa 7
    Birmingham 7
    Blackburn 7
    Charlton 7
    Middlesbrough 7
    Portsmouth 7
    Tottenham 7
    Crystal Palace 6
    Everton 6
    Southampton 6
    Bolton 5
    Fulham 5
    Man City 5
    Norwich 5
    West Brom 4

it seems that about half the games will be live on tv.

    1 - on rte/setanta
    2 - prem+
    2 - sky

also there will be another on european stations...its pretty impressive!!

sure, but i was hoping that rte would get the odd big team game, which looks ever less likely, maybe one in the whole season

Surely RTE will get a pick of any of the Saturday 3pm matches. Newcastle-Spurs, Liverpool-Man City, Chelsea-Birmingham are all on week 2. Villa-Newcastle and Chelsea-Southampton on week 3. Bolton-ManU and Fulham-Arsenal on week 4. Sky are obviously going to show the BIG matches but RTE will get to show decent games.

Hopefully they will also show a couple of games of Charlton aginst so mid/lower table side as there was a lot of good games from those games last season and the season before .
