BMW F650 Funduro Snapped Choke Knob

03-07-2004 12:40pm#1The choke knob on the handelbar snapped off after parking it against railings, was on a slope, the bike slid a few inches, the stand folded up and the bike fell against the railings, somehow in the process snapping the choke knob on the handlebar.
Have ordered a replacement , however that may take a while to arrive and was planning to temporilily use a car choke cable to the carb and manually choke it.
However, don't have a manual so not sure exactly where the choke cable goes too, I fear it may involve a tank removal
Anyone here ever worked on an F650 and know where the choke cable goes to exactly and how involved replacing it is going to be ?Have a weather station?, why not join the Ireland Weather Network - http://irelandweather.eu/
