Are there regional differences on CD's from america to here?

And what price are DVD's, books and CD's over there?

The standard that governs the discs and players for the cd standard (red book) implies that all are equal. Technically or regionally there is no difference in the way there are differences in DVD's if thats what you mean.

Some Audio CD producers have been guilty of employing anti piracy measures that have meant that some "audio cd's" wont play in standrd red book compliant players.

By and larger though there isn't a regional difference between audio cd standards .
