No i am not joking ive heard nothing about this but it is now up for download. Dont know when or if it will be released to cinima. It is probbley ****, i didnt even see Cruel intentions 2 cause it didnt have tyhe same actors, they made the movie good, not just cause ppl think they look hot because they whetre great actors who played there roles brillently, also it was well written.

I hope 3 is good but we probbley wont get to see it for months

2 was exactly the same as 1 with different actors, they didnt even change the script very much, that was one of the oddest things iv seen.

Wasn't Cruel Intentions 2 a prequel?

It was very cr@p ... which was a huge let down, as IMO the first 1 was a great movie

2 was suppose to be the about how the main character became the bad twisted person he was in the first movie.

Anyone remember the shower scene from the prequel

The second one was really bad. And going by this link this one doesn't look much better.

There's also some french film that is almost exactly the same as the first one.

The first one was essentially a hip teen remake or reworking (they're all the rage in the last few years) of the Christopher Hampton play of Les Liaisons Dangereuses (Hampton even gets a writers credit) (which itself was made into a movie in 1988ish). And had a plot. The second one (the prequel) was minus the plot.

Actually, they shot about six episodes of the series before it was cancelled by some worried exec. These episodes were never aired.
So the director took the footage and reworked it into a film which included some newly shot footage (e.g. the shower scene and the ending) and the dialogue being spiced up.

Dangerous Liasons starring Malcovich, Uma, Keanu(?), Michelle Pfiffer and some other hot chicks - oh and Glen Close.

Thought it was a heck of a lot better than cruel intentions.

PS - anyone see the cruel intentions pisstakes in Not Another Teen Movie - Amazing!
