hi everyone..ive been thinking a lot about getting a monroe/madonna, i was going to get my nose pierced but i was afraid of infection.... i was just wondering what are the chances of scarring? i have sensitive skin and i do tend to scar easily.when i was around 14 (4 years ago) i tried to pierce my own ear and ended up with a keloid scar on the edge of my ear.it was really annoying and i was very self-conscious of it, so i had it removed,i still have a bit of a scar now but its not as bad as it was! ive had my ears pierced since i was a baby, and they are okay. so should i go for it?? i dont mind having a small hole above my lip as long as it doesnt get fecked up!

get yourself to a doctor or a professional piercer before you get that done

well my dad is a doctor but he is against all piercings anyway! him and my mum (who is a nurse) used to scare the s hit out of me by telling me total lies about what would happen if i got anything pierced-- like i wanted my belly done and they were all like oh that could infect your colon or infect your veins and when i wanted more ear piercings they said that i would get metal deposits in my brain. that was such a lie, but i was a younger teen then and very impressionable. of course that didnt stop me from piercing my ears myself, and doing a diy nose piercing on a boyfriend.

ok.. my only advice to you is if your gettin it done, get it done with titanium, follow what they tell you to the word, imo, clean it twice daily with hot sea salt water solution, and as its healing, put vit e oil on it to help the skin healing... but before all of this, i would say go to a place you trust, tell them what your concerned about and open the oul ears ya got there... theyll know best...
oh and no more home jobs... why do people do that to themselves!!!
    anyways.. thats my two cents...
