Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Harry Potter is BAD!

I hated Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban! It was awful and I hope fans of the book will agree.

The whole story was patchy and it jumped from scene to scene as if it was in a hurry to end. The whole movie was emotionless (I know Daniel Radcliffe has the emotional capacity of a mop but I expected more of the other characters). The whole Shrieking Shack scene makd no sense. Harry went from hating Sirius to loving him in a matter of minutes without any reason or explanation about his parents' deaths.

Hermione and Ron didn't speak to each other for half the book but they're best of friends throughout almost the whole movie. The Firebolt story is stuck in at the end. Hagrid barely sheds a tear at the news of his beloved pet's announced exacution... I could go on and on.

I've lost hope in any future greatness of the movie series after bitter disappointment and am impatiently awaiting the release of book #6.

I can't but agree with that. It's something I've noticed with movies of late (even more so than say last year) - a complete disregard for pacing. I thought the same of Shrek 2, though I enjoyed the movie on the whole.
