Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    From the official site:

We are delighted to announce the signing of the highly-rated midfielder Sean Davis from Fulham.

Commented Sporting Director Frank Arnesen: "I’m absolutely delighted to have signed Sean who is one of the highest quality midfield players in the Premiership. He is a young talent with a great future.

"This is a very important signing for the club and he will have a crucial role to play at the centre of our midfield."

Davis, coveted by many Premiership clubs, is a combative midfielder with a big reputation. His acknowledged ball-winning skills and passing ability have attracted the interest of England manager Sven Goran Eriksson who has already included him in one of his senior squads and it is clear that the 24-year-old will break through to the full international side before too long. He has already captained the England Under-21 side.

Born in Lambeth, Sean emerged from the Fulham Academy to make his senior debut at the age of 17 and is now greatly experienced for a player of his age.

The deal is subject to a medical and the agreement of terms with the player

So Spurs fans what do you think? He's a decent player who can get better.

Decent player alright! as I said in other thread Midfield has been Spurs biggest weakness in the last few season! Davis will improve that! he was tipped for the England squad not so long ago but suffered a dip inform or injury and was included!!

    Will Ronaldo be next? :-)

    This is quality news!!!

    :D

Davis is a great footballer, got a nice touch and is a decent passer, with a keen eye for a tackle.

Am I right in thinking the price was £3 million? If it was it was a steal.
