need cheap host with loads of space

    I need the above to be able to host a rake of video & sound files (300-400Mb). Downloads should not be excessive so bandwidth isn't really an issue. Some of the files are up to 50MB.
    I would prefer free host that allows external linking but would be willing to pay a bit.
    Any ideas on where to go?

    Perhaps contact some of the hosts in the hosting forum sticky for special / custom plans, most would custom design a high-storage / low bandwidth solution to meet your requirement.

    Why?
    If they were offering unlimited disk or bandwidth I could understand, but unlimited pop3 etc., is simple overselling - which all hosting companies do to a greater or lesser extent.

    I'm happy with them tbh. Great tech support, prices etc. and I've not noticed any downtime...
