Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Blackburn’s plans to give Diego Maradona’s son a trial at Ewood Park have been put on hold.

Diego Jr, the 17 year-old son of the legendary Argentinian, is based in Italy with Napoli and has been invited to spend a week with Rovers. But the midfielder will not be travelling to East Lancashire yet because of an injury.

Chief executive John Williams said: “We had arranged for Diego Jr to come over and spend a week in training with us.

“However, he has picked up an injury playing with Napoli and the plans have been put on hold for the time being.”

Wasnt it coventry that had an option to sign the real Maradona but turned it down and he moved to Napoli instead?

Don't know anything about the lad, but could you imagine the pressure on him because of his dad's success!
if he is half as good he will be worth signing.
does anyone know what position he plays?

Blckburn have an excellent acadamy, and it would probably be a good move for maradonna jnr, cause it cant be easy at napoli with that surname.

Not many sons do as well as their fathers, tho'!

Look at Darren Fergeson, Jordi Cryuff, Paul Daglish, etc.
The only one doing better than his father, i can think of is probably Frank Lampard jnr.
