It was over the weekend. Sky news had a big story about Fibbers breaking the ban and everyone rallying around.

Except that Fibbers had said they would enforce the ban the day before after being done for it.

    News seemed out of date.

would that update have suited the angle Sky had on the story?

I think they do a review of the week on saturday and sunday (or just sunday, not sure)... maybe that was it.

Yes thats right flogen, they do a week in review all weekend usually on it. Probably becuse Grainne Seoige won't let anybody else present it, yet won't work 7 days a week.

It's been reported that Sky News Ireland itself may be out of date, it might be nearing an end after some very bad viewing figures.

    See this thread for more.

I actually think it is quite good - would watch it most nights! :dunno:

Yea I kind of figured it was a week in review but the news I was watching didn't seem to imply it.

I havent seen any of the week in reviews yet, did it not have the day or date in the corner like the regular Sky News Review would have?

The week in review section has the normal sky clock in the corner, and unless you see the 5-sec graphic with Sky News Ireland Review, you mightn't realise otherwise.

I kind of like it. Purely because the 10pm show suits me timewise

I don't think they are doing well. I like watching news but having seen the Irish news on RTE and sometimes on TV3, Sky News Ireland has nothing to offer. I have on occasions switched to Sky News at 10pm to get some of the latest information on some big story that the regular Sky News would be covering only to find Sky News Ireland on.
