Anyone play the Alpha Tech Release?

    Just wondering.
    I downloaded the ATR and had a look.
    You had Hercs and tanks in it!?!?
    Did they COMPLETELY scrap all that and make it infantry orientated? Or are they gonna put the dirty stuff back, in a patch?

    afaik, there are two games set in the Starsiege universe. "Starsiege" (the sequel to "Earthsiege") is a mech-based combat game, sortof like Mechwarrior I think. It isn't out yet, but there are betas available. "Starsiege: Tribes" is set in the same universe, but is an infantry-based game.

    The Tribes is set in the future of the SS universe where the tribes have split off and gotten lost from the main core. Or something like that...

    Ask any of the major tribes that go in for the roleplaying end of it.
