Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    What a film - On tonight, RTE1, 9.30

One of the best comedys ever along with several other of Adam Sandlers - e.g, Billy Maddisson and Happy Gilmore :D

ah man stop that, do you ever notice adam sandler plays the same character in every film? a sort of slow nice guy with anger problems....
happy gilmore was decent, but as for the rest...

though he did display similar character traits as the ones you refer to in this film as well, i'd have to say punch-drunk love stands out as a good flick amongst a career of slightly less than good flicks.

Ah good, I'm not the only one who thought this was strained tosh. Despite the presence of Henry Winkler. And it doesn't have Joey Lauren Adams in it (which even Big Daddy has) so it loses more points for that.

Adam Sandler is one of the funniest actors around - all his films are hilarious (including Little Nicky!)

Waterboy is a classic - Id watch it over and over again - just like Happy Gilmore =)

adam sandler was hilarious in happy gilmore, good in the waterboy, ok in big daddy and terrible in everything else.

he was a different class in punch drunk love though, it doesn't really count as a adam sandler flick.

he has made some dumb as **** career moves though... and as for his tryin to make rob sneider famous...

    I liked The Waterboy.
Except for Punch Drunk Love, I've sat through his other movies just waiting for Rob Schneider's bit. He needs some help choosing his movies.
