rip off fones??

hi there

i came across a chap on the net selling fones. he sent a list, and he had motorola v600 and would sell one for $160,

sounds cheap to me., he said he does ups delivery,

he sends my recipt of delivery, (scans document and emails), then i send cash. and i supposodely get fone afterwards

is this a scam? he is romanian and in germany now.

he wants to send me a v600 and says he can post 2moro

he also got top spec toshiba notebooks for $1000

???
im abit weary of this guy, but a v600 for that price. mmmmmmm

he said he can get a v80 as well, but his 'supplier' is getting back to him

a fone is called a mobile phone here......i was repairing some customer returns from the states and they called them 'fones'. or cell fones.........

well sounds like a big risk to me
when buying online i only deal with places that i have heard good feedback about
i dont know much about phones but id say this same thing applies
if it seems too good to be true it probably is

As I heard before if it is 2 good of a deal then dont buy! because it is sure to be a rip off! as well you have no backup with this guy! better off buyin off here!

tell him you have friends that live quite close to him and they can do the transaction in person ..

You will never hear from him again !!!

sounds like the same kinda scam that ripped some people off before - involving suspiciously cheap laptops and Romanians! (no offence) - there was thread a while ago, can't find it now, but eh, yeah, careful.

Docs can be fake, heard about this before and its not worth the risk...

Tell him you will send him scanned documents of the payment made, and then he should post it from there!

or just ask him to f*ck off, its a very common scam!

pure scam, was in germany two weeks ago and the people i was with were discussing this stuff. There is a similar thing going on with the new Dual Processor apple computers.

If he wants you to send cash after he has posted tell him you will - then dont pay until the phone arrives. What can he do?

if anyone ever requests payment by western union ... run a mile. There is absolutely no comeback whatsoever with that.
its a favourite of the nigerian scammers.
