Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Thinkin of getting this on DVD tonight but ive heard mixed reviews. Anyone here have anything to say on it??

    It's alright, the only thing that saves it from being another crappy tv-movie-about-serial-killers is Charlize Theron, she deserved the oscar (imho).

    I saw it and didnt like it. I have to admit though Chalize acting was superb :)

    Monster is a good film, but as a reflection of who and what Wuornos was - it is downright pathetic.

    IMO it concentrated too much on her "love life" and the seemingly inconsequential murders - quite a shame really.

    If you want to see something factual about her, try the documentary made by Nick Broomfield - much better

    saw it in the cinema...

    to be quite honest it wasn't enjoyable

    enjoyable in any sense

    I didn't get anything out of the film and so it wasn't worth the unpleasant viewing

    the acting was excellent though

    Good film - rent it but dont buy it - not something you'd watch over again.

    Definately work the watch though - story is good and the acting is brilliant!

    Total tripe imo

    Found it very slow moving, crappy story line, ugly actors >_< .... got the tickets for free from ugc :rolleyes: nuff said
