it was only hobbes, calm down gandalf. setting a waypoint off the mission area "may" be considered cheating in these "high powered" state-side games hobbes is involved in.

shouting cheat rather than explaining himself considering how new we all are at this is a bit sad. hobbes, apologise like a good lad and explain yourself.

Noggy/Gandalf... Here's what happend.

I had just grabbed a scout and waypointed myself to the other base, then my waypoint flipped to the bottom left corner of the map and the message on the console said that Gandalf MS had issued the command attack enemy at waypoint.

I check who's on my team and Gandalf is the other team, hence the reason I was p!ssed about it. I did explain myself, and when I said it wasn't you I said someone else is fuking about at which point you logged off in a huff.

And before anyone asks, yes you can do this as well as numerous other ways to cheat/fuk up the game. So easy to cheat that I only play on locked private servers in the US.

I've had to put up with that crap on the US public servers, I certainly wasn't expecting it on the Irish server, hence the quick outburst. Sorry Gandalf for the inital comment but it defo said your name had issued the waypoint.


Oh yea, Cloud the timer is screwed on your server. We Admin'ed Dupre to fix it, but it did nothing.

last night the only way to change levels was a vote....

I spent over an 1 hour on the one map, there's only so many times you can repair one solar panel !!!

Yeah, spending an hour on a map like Broadside is very frustrating for both sides. I think the farthest either flag got was when Carnate managed to get as far as the underside of his base before I disked him in the back. <IMG SRC="http://lacerta.ucg.ie/boards/smile.gif&quot; WIDTH=15 HEIGHT=15 BORDER=0 ALT=":)">

Basically, the timer goes down to 0:00, then starts going UP - it doesn't stop.

Perhaps we should play D&Dor T&H? At least those mission types do not rely on timers to finish - T&H missions end when a certain score is reached, D&D when the objectives are completed.
