rate Thompson plasma TV's

How do you guys rate Thompson plasma TV's , I'm thinking of buying a 27' 100hz from dixons. its within my budget i.e. just below eur2,500. I compared this one against the more expensive bigger screens instore, and it was amazing to see the difference. Nearly bought straight away, but the wife dragged me out of the shop...…

According to here, Thomson plasma's are made by NEC. Personally, I don't like Thomson as a brand, but that's just me.
