What does Israel expect to happen when they bulldoze homes and plant colonists in their places?

The settlements are only stoking trouble. Whenever Hamas etc. agree a ceasefire Sharon sends in the tanks to stir up more trouble and then says "talks cant happen because of terrorism etc." And when he has talks (once in a blue or even technicolour moon) with the Palestinians, he always arranges an exit-strategy of sendingi n the tanks and the troops to stir up trouble and then ends the talks citing "terrorism" etc. He is stoking things further by choosing that the route of the West Bank wall absorbs parts of the illegally-occupied territories into the Israeli side of the fence. The wall itself is understandible though. It is the route that is provocative.

Because I don't think that Israel want the destruction of Palestine. Moreso than Israel, I think Palestinians actually want the destruction of Israel.

And what about that deal of a Palestinian state that Yessir Ama**** turned down? He didn't have the guts to be a Michael Collins.

That deal would have created a checkerboard Palestinian state with every town separated by Israeli checkpoints, Israeli control over the water-supplies and airspace, and Israeli control over the borders. Much worse than what Michael Collins had to accept.
