Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

i was under the impression that the law had changed, and that pubs and clubs couldn't use the old "21's, 23's" routine.

am i wrong? are they aloud to do this?

    its all very sketchy.....

Michel McDowell changed the Equality law in the new alcohol law so they can refuse entry based on age.

I posted a thread about the changes in the intoxicating liquor act a few weeks ago. It is a blatant attack on civil liberties, the authorities are imposing rhetoric to pretend that they care about and are dealing with the problem of binge drinking. It creates a two tier adulthood, scapegoating people in the 18-21 age group and punishing everybody for the actions of a minority.Futhermore it is based on the grossly false assumption that the only binge drinkers are in the 18-25 age group.
