I know this is a really basic question but Im new to this broadband stuff. If you have broadband vis a dial-up do you have to pay anything apart from the monthly subscription, i.e. is there any telephone usage charges at all. It's prob a dumb question but I was just wondering.

You just have to pay your monthly subscription for internet access. There are no call costs involved as you are no longer dialing a number to access the internet.

You will, however, still have to pay your Line Rental and voice call costs.
