Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Has anyone here had it work? The chances of someone else inputting it must be slim.

No hits for me yet. Apparently it only becomes likely if you've entered 1000 banknotes or more. These odds would drop if there were more users though - there were many Finnish hits because lots of people do it in Finland.

RFID - allegedly THEY can track euro notes. and hence the person who has them .

Radi Frequency ID tags are now about 50c each in large volumes - sorta like bar codes - except they can be read at a distance - using more power means they can be read further away.

(actually microwave ovens run at ~ 2.4GHz so pieces of metal with dimensions of multiples of ~3cm will adsorb the energy and get hot regardless of RFID or not - so I reckon they just fried ordinary money

But RFID technology exists and WILL be used - the only limiting factor apart from civil libertyies is the cost of them and of replacing barcode scanners.

"The RFID allows money to carry its own history," by recording information about where it has been, said Paul Saffo, director of Institute for the Future (Menlo Park, Calif.).
