Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just wondering if it's legal to import gunpowder? Do you need a gun licence first?

That or an explosives licence. You could try just getting potassium nitrate, charcoal, and sulphur, but the potassium nitrate is probably controlled.

You don't need a firearms licence, black powder is handled by the laws governing explosives. If, however, you're thinking of reloading cartridges for fullbore rifles, you won't be able to - it's prohibited in the republic.

No probably about it - have only seen it on sale in a garden centre once in this country. Even ammonium nitrate comes with 20% chalk added so it can't be ignited. AFAIK even some dry cleaning solvents are controlled too.
