Repairing mp3 player

Have an iRiver IFP-390T, the problem is the joystick has stopped responding in the "Up" direction. Unfortunately I've lost the warranty card for it so I don't think I can send it back, so it looks like I've to repair it myself. The plastic case for it is sealed so I can't do this easily without damaging it. Does anyone…

Does anyone know anyone who can do this without damaging the case too much? The problem itself is very simple to fix I'd say.
