    Good stuff, I was thinking of reinstalling Quake3... how's the Q3 scene going these days?
    Last time I was playing it seemed pretty dead, pub servers empty, not much action happening at all. :/
    Is it just limited to pickups or otherwise pre-arranged matches or can you still jump on a server and start fragging?

    fairly dead at the moment, was going well a few months ago... you could spark a mini revival if you got one or two people to come onto the servers with you a couple of nights in a row, others would join and it could easily turn into a regular thing

    common channel commands
    !add - add your name to the list.
    !remove - remove your name from the list.
    !lastgame - details of last game: who added, what server, time game was called.
    !q3 server:port - current game info from server:port.

    You could be waiting anywhere from 5 to 25 minutes before a pickup list gets full.
