IOLBB/Netgear Router

I just got a netgear RP614 to share my iol BB connection. Now every 20 minutes or so I lose my internet connection to a few website first then them all. There seems to be a few collisions happening as well. I've set the mtu on windows & the router to 1426 but there's still no change. There's a password and user name option…

I've set the mtu on windows & the router to 1426 but there's still no change. There's a password and user name option to connect to the net on the router but I dont know if I have to fill them in as I presume the modem would handle all that.

The modem also seems to only connect to the router at 10mb/s where it should connect at 100mb/s as both are capable of this. If any can think of anything else that might help.
