I am after tips and tricks you guys have for dead beat travelling light.

    my main offerings are:

boxers feel cleaner longer than briefs, so pack boxers :D
soap washes hair as good as shampoo
jeans do not dry, don't bring them!
    baby wipes.

I know there are websites, but perhaps personal experience has some more interesting tips.

I travel a lot, here are a few of my essentials

    Gameboy Advance

    Triband Mobile Phone

Good(ish) quality earphones (maybe 15 euros) as the ones on plane are grim.

    Inflatable neck cushion.

BA first class blindfold. They are cotton unlike the economy ones which stick to your eyes.

    Pear Drops.

Minidisc (would be an MP3 player but I don't have one)

    Gap hooded fleecy sweatshirt.

    Alcohol.

    Lipbalm.

been trying to travel lighter and lighter over the years,
in an effort to avoid waiting for them slow baggage handlers :)

    Bare essentials for me..
clothes, de-odourant, towel soap and toothbrush/paste..
Often choose to buy some of the above at the destination..

    The extremes one goes to..
