Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

In the menu area it shows everything is disabled and if i double click on them, it say " you do not have the rights to configures these settings", why has this all changed to disabled?

Seen this happen occassionaly with Norton whereby the installation becomes corrupt, try a repair installation in Add or Remove Programs. Hopefully you will get it sorted without having to reinstall,as if you need a complete reinstall you loose all your live updates, and given that the 2004 products are nearly a year old now, thats a lot of updating if you are on dialup!

You have a virus and/or trojan. Your Norton suite has been infiltrated, and depending on the type and strain of virus that you have been infected with, you might find that you cannot fix this problem by re-installing the suite.

You'll have to scan and clean the PC with another AV package. If you've been reading any of the other threads in this section you might know what's coming next... Get a copy of AVG free edition from www.grisoft.com and clean your system with it. Report back here if you have any trouble doing that.

When your system is clean you might have to play with some services settings and registry settings so that you can properly install the Norton suite again... We'll see...

By the way, what is your browsers homepage set to?
