80 points this week! No one else in boardsie beat me Anelka as captain netted me 32. Wright-Philips and Mellberg scoring gave me some points too. Lampard had another good game. After making all those transfers last week and loosing a rake of points, we can only go upwards from here!

I am well p1ssed off. Last year I kept Henry as my captain all the way through. So I decided I'd change it around a bit this year going with Reyes for the first 3 weeks and then trying to be clever going with Ronaldo this week because he was playing twice in the one Gameweek.
And then Henry has the cheek to go and score 4 goals, 7 assists and 3 bonus points!!!
I would've got an extra 50 points if I had of kept him as my captain!
I'm not doing too badly, but I could've of been top of the league by now!

Had a good gameweek this week (well just saturday actually!). The team is starting to pull together.

This is the worst fanstasy football I have come across. The yahoo one is MUCH better, but I wont make any sad attempts to lure people over.

I got 30points, but that was probably down to me spending all my money on my first 7 players.

I have now rationed the squad it is ready to run into the next week of matches

I really can't take seriously, any fantasy footy game in which Damien Francis of Norwich is more expensive @ 17M than Stevie Gerrard, Robert Pires and Shaun Wright Phillips. Gravesen is valued at 40M, while new arrival Luis Garcia at Liverpool can be had for a similarly unrealistic, a mere 1M, yes, one!

The values seem to change very rapidly with the flavour of the week becoming very overvalued on just a couple of good games.

There are so many stats to get your head around, it's quite bewildering. Plus the fact that I was looking for a number of players I couldn't find.

It's total fantasy alright.

Are you serious? I just registered to see what it was like. You buy Henry and Reyes and you have just a fifth of your "salary cap" left to spend. Robinson is 2.5 times the price of Howard. Babayaro is the most expensive defender. That is the weirdest thing I've ever sen in my life. :eek:

Nope 100% free.

I agree with there being a few problems in it (Babayaro for exmaple), but its probably the most comprehensive one out there, and they are constantly improving it!

Just transfered Blackburn's John Stead out, I can't believe that I sold Andy Johnson either just because he didn't score in his first game. With the wasters Keane and Stead out of the squad, hopefully I can start movig up the rank again. Hurrah for Frankie Lampard backing me a goal by the way

What are you mad??? The season isn't even half over yet. There's still a VERY long way to go. I was something like 30th last month and now I'm up to 9th. Plus my team is worth 108.4 million so that should give me a bit of buying power in the future. I've learned an awful lot of lessons from last year, and AWFUL lot!!!!

Join the club. I looked around two weeks ago in the other league I'm in, which is my priority, and the top nine had Henry as captain, including me, so I thought that was a big chance to steal a jump when Arsenal played spurs in what would surely be a low scoring match.....WRONG!

Could be doing better if I had of chosen my captain more wisely. I was in two minds last week as to who to chose. Henry or Scholes. I went for Henry after he done so well the previous two weeks when I had Scholes as my captain. I keep on getting it wrong!! Ah well, I'm not doing too bad despite my bad captain choices!

Ah yeah a very respectable 15th, could've done better, but I didnt bother with transfers after week 24.

Came 3rd this year. Should've finished 1st but had a terrible last couple of weeks. 6 players including my captain didn't play in the last game!!

But the worst thing this year is that last year I was in a league with some mates and we used to put in €20 each for every month and the winner takes all. Didn't win one single month last year and then we decide not to do it this year (quit when you're ahead and all that!!) and guess what? Yes that's right, I end up winning nearly every month. Argghhh!!!
