How about a "Latest Posts" link at the bottom of the "Subbed" menu (and possibly the "Arts","Rec","Sci", etc. menus) that will bring you to the home page with the latest posts section listing the latest posts in the section in question?

    Does that make sense?

you know the way in your subbed list you get an asterix beside updated forums, how about something similar on all the drop down menus, it might make people look at other forums more often, as the /vbulletin page is not as clear as the drop down menu,

just if you looking for feedback and all.

Why not change it so that the "subbed" link itself brings you to here inseted of the usercp?

The menu's used to work like that but it was a performance nightmare. As it stands the entire menu is static apart from subbed, and is regenerated regularly. When all the menu's were dynamically generated it meant re generating them for every page impression. That's a lot of work for the server and also means a bigger download size per page.

The only minor tweak I'd like to see (and it's an incredibly small nit picking one), is image pre-caching for the right pointing arrow that indicates a sub menu. Occasionally it doesn't download on time and the default browser image marker size expands the menu downwards leaving an ungainly space at the bottom. Again, this is a tiny nit pick and I don't expect to see anyone try to fix it.
