Some people think that this weekends hurling fixtures are a fore gone conclusion. Not Dinny Cahill he has made the bold prediction that his team will beat Cork, saying in the process that Cork have very poor forwards particularly at centre forward (Niall McCarthy) and Cahill feels that Antrim are very strong at centre back!

Don't forget that last year Antrim nearly beat Wexford in the quarter finals! Unfortunately I forgot this when I made my predictions in the hurling pools(which are still open for predictions by the way) Hopefully Antrim can win, it would be great for hurling and continue a year of unlikely winners!

T'would be fantastic if Antrim could win but I cant see it happening. They did run Waterford to just 2 points last weekend (3-24 to 4-19) but Antrim quiet simply dont get enough games at full on championship pace against top opposition.
