Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Any truth in this rumour doing the rounds, that Martin O Neil's wife is terminally ill, and it may force martin to leave the game for the while, this might explain lack of transfers as well as him not travelling to pre-season friendlies

    Could all be balls though

I think there might be some truth to it. O'Neill said that he is staying on a celtic for this season. but i think if his wife continues to be ill then i could see him taking a year or so out of football.

Jaysus thats rotten luck for him, hope its not terminal. He seems a very nice sort and thats rough for him and his family and obviously his wife.

Heres hoping that Celtic don't bring back John Barnes!!

His wife is definitely ill but he intends to travel to the US next week to catch the last 1 or 2 matches.

"But I will be using the next week while the team are away to attempt to progress some things that we’re working on. That’s not loose talk - it’s something we very much want to get done."

I doubt he's taking a year off unless something has come up in the last few hours.
