Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Always wanted to call a golden lab or a retriever Serabi but that wouldn't really suit a jack russell cross...

How bout Sparky (after South Park!)

    Mr Snorkle

    Dr Smutsy

    Professor Miko

    Lady Fairweather

I know they make no sense but I just thought of these. I always liked the idea of calling a cat or dog Mr/Mrs/Dr/Professor something. Odd I know...

I was going to get a Jack Russell/Shi tzu crossbreed, which i was going to call Jack ****, but we got a jack russell instead, so I called him Bluto after John Belushi's character in Animal House.

Call it God. But that may be a bit "done" as such.

Call it 'what'. It'll really mess with it's head once it knows it's his name.

    Imagine training him...

    "Come here, Sit"

    "Heel, Sit"

    "Go home, Sit" :p

I'm surprised nobody else has come up with the most blatantly obvious name yet.

    It's got to be....................

    DRUMROLL PLEASE....................

    "MY PENIS"! :D

No, seriously, think of all the fun you could have with a name like that for your pup.

"My Penis is my best friend!"

"I just love to pet and stroke My Penis. He's so soft!"

"My Penis just loves chasing after pussies!"

"Oh no! I've lost My Penis!"

"Here, My Penis. Come here, boy!"

"My Penis doesn't like the cold!"

"My Penis, down! Down boy, down!"

"Even though I love My Penis, when he gets wet, he tends to smell really bad!"

"My girlfriend just loves waking up every morning to see My Penis looking right back at her. She loves him so much that she gives him a big kiss first thing in the morning!"

And of course, the classic line when you have to go into a shop or whatever and they don't allow animals inside. Go up to the first person you see, hand them the leash and say........

"Excuse me, would you mind holding onto My Penis for a moment? Thanks!"

Go on, call him My Penis. He'll love you for it! :D

i had a pomeranian named Mr.Smith , my last name isnt smith, everyone thought it was so weird but so cool, poor little fella got knocked down going on a year now, we got another little pom a chick and her name is to most of us mrs.smith but my brother doesnt believe in naming it mrs.smith so he calls her ieda or somit, dunno how u spell but thats how u pronounce it,

anyways, that was by far the coolest name for a dog, it grows on you

also around 3years ago the brother got a pomeranian[first one b4 mr.smith] and called him apple, was cool every1 thought it was odd, even chris martin robbed the name..

    sprog! boring :(

pick a long obscure unneccisarily confusing name like: "the rabbits", "elephants arent really afraid of mice", "how many bones has a body got?", "there's a moose loose aboot this hoose".

to make the pup more secure, use a combination of uppercase, lower case, numbers and symbols.

yes, good suggestion! symbols are good too, say like... £ing - pounding, €llover - *you* roll over!, #| - hash pipe... or just a simple "!" exclaimation mark.

    agree with exit.

call him Niall or Barry or Bob.

the more poofy and cute and fluffy he is, the less pooofy and fluffy his name should be.

very VERY cute puppy by the way

called my new dog Gandhi.... its a long story why I chose that name, but I think its a nice dog name anyway.....:D

That dog is tiny... what breed is it?

I wouldnt choose a human name (or not a common one like bob, anyway), its a dog, pick something unusual

    flogen

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,840 ✭✭✭✭cormie

Best name for a dog has to be

    "rabies"

You'd get all the chicks with a dog with that name;)
The human name suggestion is great, I've talked about that before. Simon, Patrick, Stephen, David.

    Great!
