Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Malaga star Josemi on his way to Anfield

Liverpool have agreed a deal to sign Malaga defender Josemi, according to reports in Spain.

Sports daily Diario AS and Malaga paper Diario Sur both state negotiations were concluded late on Friday night and that the player will soon be jetting out to the USA to join the Reds on their pre-season tour.

The deal is reportedly worth 4million euros and is now subject to Josemi agreeing personal terms with the Anfield outfit.

The 24-year-old, who would become new coach Rafael Benitez's first signing for the Merseysiders, is able to play at right-back and in the centre of the defence.

He started his career at hometown club Torremolinos before moving along the coast to Malaga as a teenager.

He has since moved through the ranks at La Rosaleda and is now considered a first-team regular, making 35 league appearances last season.

Josemi - He is a hardman type Right Back / Centre Half
Expect some suspensions , He got 10 yellow cards in Spain Last season ..

Spanish referees are very qucik with their cards .

one ref gave 2 reds and 13 yellows in one game last season .

and in his match before that he gave 1 red and 7 yellows .

The thing is , neither were dirty games .

They were games that would earn 2 to 3 yellow cards in England .
