Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I used to go couple times a week. Its a fantasic rush. Not sure how yours will be set up, but where i went you could opt for several ways ... just go tandem strapped to an instructor (more expensive but a longer freefall)...static line where your rip cord is attached to the plane so you just jump and the chute opens (cheaper but no freefall) . i started off with the static line jumps and worked my way up to free falls. It was a little pricey for the first one cause you have to pay for training, but after that got muuuch cheaper..enjoy ..you wont regret it...well maybe you will...

I have two friends who used to jump with the Irish Parachute Club. I've no idea how much it costs, but they're surely worth getting in touch with.

Im in the US, but if prices there are comparable i can give some rough averages:
The first static line jump was around $150 which included the training. After that it was $45(basically renting your chute) . To go tandem was around $175 each time. Accelerated freefall was around $250.
I'd say your best bet is just to find a good reputable place and call... a parachute is not one of those things you'll want to skimp on :dunno:

Do it for free with the Council for the Blind.

I know its sneaky but everyone gets somfin from it ,you need to raise €600 and then your ok to jump.

Any pub you know the barmen in go there and hustle and and your family and workmates should easily make 600.
