Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I know this maybe should be in the movie section but come on, it's The Rock!!

    Anywho, I went to see it today and thought it was pretty damn good. I thought the Rock's character was a little dry and didn't give him room to show his charisma that he usually oozes.
    Honestly IMO Johnnly Knoxville stole the show, he's a pretty funny guy and suprisingly a relatively convincing actor.

    Overall the bad guys were cartoonish, The Rock was awesome in the fight scenes, the girl was hot, characters were lousy in general and actually come the think of it, that 2x4 stole the show!!!

    What did anyone else think???

    Well i got it on pirate in vietnam about 2 months ago and I must say it's the worst movie I've seen in a long long time. Anybody expecting this movie to be as good as welcome to the jungle are in for big dissapointment. Its total and utter rubbish. I know the rock aint no actor but who said knoxville could!. What a waster. The film story is rubbishly told, extremely bad acting, unrealistic script, action scenes disapoint and generally the love interest was just stupid.

    I beg to differ in you saying the girl was hot. I thought she was a bit of a dog myself.

    Its just an awful awful movie. News of the world gave it 1star from 5.

    Also, The Rock became sherrif overnight. What a load of rubbish.

    Its based on a True Story...so might not be all that big a load of rubbish

    i know its based on a true story but its still total rubbish. The story is really really badly told. And also the transition are really bad if u know what i mean.

    I went to it thinkin it would be crap, came out plesently surprised. Were u expecting a Pulp Fiction-type film as reguards acting skills/storyline? No wonder u were dissapointed!
