Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was thinking of getting a cheapo Ryanair flight into here and getting a train on from Nottingham. Anyone here ever flown into this airport? How long does the bus take getting from the airport to the train station does anyone know?

Knowing Ryanairs fondness for flying into airports that are nowhere near their destinations I though I should check this first.

    Cheers.

    http://www.skylink.co.uk/

A bus every 30 minutes to the city and it should only cost 10€ return.

The site doesn't say how long it takes though but seems to be the fastest airport shuttle service on offer there.

Yeah, cheers Ponster. I'm just wondering how long it takes to get to the city so I can organise a connecting train etc. The website says 'a short bus ride' but that isn't really descriptive enough for me ;)

UPDATE : (from my Notts Girlfriend :) )

Tell the guy that even tho' the airport is now called Nottingham East Midlands it is equally close to Derby which is more of a mainline station for trains running North East to South West, and Loughbrough which is as good for trains to London as Nottingham.
