Have just read from the Mushkin site that some instability on a64 systems is caused by running memory at its stock speeds ie running 2-2-2-5 ram at 2-2-2-5.

They suggest that due to a small error (?) in the memory controller of the cpu that you run 2-2-2-5 memory at 2-3-2-5 and 3-3-3-10 at 3-4-3-10 etc. This will cut down on errors or something which may cause crashes. I dunno if this is accurate or not (link below).

Also it is said that a64's run better with 2-2-2-10 than with 2-2-2-5. Again something to do with having the memory controller on the cpu rather than on the northbridge.

This is what i heard and dunno if its true or not. Any info would be appreciated.
