    Anyone out there using the Roger Wilco product with Tribes?

    Is it worth it? - not from a monetary perspective you understand, but from a usability point of view.

    didnt type for the whole few games...public servers....2 ppl on roger wilco running amuck

    Question is...


    Is this good enough to use for standard TRIBES team communications in a match? Any thoughts?

    ps. Its a free product as far as I'm aware, but I'm not sure what it does to bandwidth / ping rates.

    its not free

    u can have 64 people connected to one PC on a 28 modem with no lag smile.gif
    ie: it does nothing to your lag

    if it wouldnt work for all 10 members, how about have one for defence one for offence or something along the lines of groups

    TeamTalk is still there for multi task messages....

    however, if it crashes and yer used to it your frigged, its just something else that can go wrong, for example EED use battlefield comm in their Q2 clan matches, it died on them at the beginning of the LPB cup semi final, taking their sound card with it, leaving them to play the game with no sound and no comms, they lost.

    we were gonna start using it till we heard this horror story smile.gif
