Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Seeing as there isn't a Basketball forum and more people go to Peter Andre concerts than the sports board I thought i'd ask here!

Well I was just wondering what the Harlem Globe Trotters actually do. As far as I can see they aren't an NBA team but they are supposed to be an awesome team.

    Anyone???

They're really more of an entertainment outlet - there's talent there but it's mostly about the comedy. They haven't been a serious basketball team since the 1930s. Having said that, they didn't lose a game between 1971 and 1995 (the streak lasted over 8000 games), before going on another 1200+ games winning streak that lasted till 2000. As Krusty the clown found out, you don't bet against them. Why not? Well, they usually play against teams that can barely find their way out of the dressing room. Wilt Chamberlain's probably the best known player they've had that actually went on to be regarded as a talented NBA player (still holds the NBA record for most points in a game IIRC - 100, Michael Jordan's highest was 69)

You just missed them. They were here on April the 19th..

I'm sure they'll be back soon.. In the meantime, have a look at some of these crazy baskets.
