Wow look at my CPU clock speed!

    I decided for the hell of it to underclock my system yes thats right underclock it and do some benchies.

    You can compare my underclock system to my overclocked system in my sig.
    I found my graphics card difficult to under clock memory wise

    AMD Athlon 64 3400 2.2Ghz @ 803Mhx 200x4
    Asus 9800xt 412/730 @100/580
    OCZ EB PC3700 3.0-2-3-8 @ 3.0-6-7-15
    HyperTransport 800mhz @ 201Mhz 200x1 (blast that extra 1mhz)

    Overclock 3D Mark 2001 Score 22,660
    Stock 3D Mark 2001 Score 20,128
    Underclock 3D Mark 2001 Score 7,024

    Overclock 3D Mark 2003 Score 7,352
    Stock 3D Mark 2003 Score 6,532
    Underclock 3D MArk 2003 Score 2,123

    Can anyone out there beat my under clock score.....I like to see those sods with an X800 or Geforce 6800 beat that 3D Mark 2001 score :) not a chance :)

    How cool does it run, at those speeds u could proably remove the fan from the heatsink and wave at it once an hour :)

    Did not check the temp. I can't lower the voltage on this board below default which would really lower my temps. I'm probably need a cpu heater if I did :)

    Can anyone recommend some really doggy crap drivers for ATI. They still have to run both 3D Marks but at reduced 3D Mark scores :)

    Boredom for me just did it for the hell of it. But I suppose if you can lower the voltage to the cpu and other components will prolong there life. Not really much point to it. Just abit of a laugh.

    :D increases the life time of ya components and its good crack, since that i had to reset my CMOS a few times when i was doin it. I must have went too low :rolleyes: :D

    Its ok to mess with and see how shit works but overall its like trying to queeze an orange , by the time you get that extra bit of juice out of it, you forget you wanted the orange juice.
