Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello,

I'm backing up some of my (mostly foreign language) DVD's onto my laptop.

    I'm doing this -

    1. Using dvdshrink to copy the movie file (and subtitle information) ONLY to my PC. I am not copying the menus.

    2. The copied DVD movie file will pay fine with subtitles (appearing automatically) on my PC.

    3. I then use Dr. DIVX to convert the DVD movie file to an AVI.

PROBLEM: The subtitle information is not being included in the new AVI (as in, the movie has no subtitles.)

Is there a solution to this? The doom9.org forums seem to have very few people interested in foreign movies so no help there...

    Thank you!

A catchphrase that Vanilla Ice used at the end of his 1990 hit 'Ice Ice Baby'.

'Yo. Let's get out of here. Word to yo motha.'

It basically suggests that one's mother is either attractive or that the some sort of physical relationship has occured between your mother and the gentleman in question.

Being used incorrectly here as an expression of thanks.

I use a program called ImTOO Dvd Ripper, I've used every dvd ripping tool available and this is m favourite. It has options for ripping the subtitles and the different audio etc. I get 55fps with it.

    Yup seems lovely.

Is there a way to limit the size of my AVI files? I want them to be in the 700 Meg region.

    Thanks!
